Rebecca is doing really well. She still has the g-tube and has her good days and not so good of days with feedings.
Last week, the family had a 10 lbs party with cupcakes and candles for Rebecca. We sang Happy 10 pound Birthday! Although, 10 lbs is behind where she should be, I see it as progress!
Rebecca's little personality melts your heart. I continue to get choked up at least once a day when she smiles. Usually, anytime of day, Rebecca will give you the biggest ear to ear smile that you have ever seen a baby give! She is already a Daddy's girl, they have an adorable special bond. Carson and Joy get some good coo's from Rebecca as well.
At Rebecca's last Cardiologist appointment, everything looked good and the Doctor does not see that we will have to repair Rebecca's bi-cuspid valve anytime soon. We do have her checked once a month to make sure no severe changes have taken place. Our next goal, 15 lbs here we come!
